was given the name of nightgale by the adults of the city that see xem as the bird of the night that brings joy and songs to the people of the city. Kids surname xem moon bird as a derive from the name adults chose for xem. Xe is as bright and conforting as the moon.
Xi appears most night to play arround with the kids and bring festivity and energy to the people of the city. Xe animates games and fun creative activities that anyone can join in. often, Xe is just as clumbsy as the kids when attempting those projects but thier silliness brings even more light and joy to the mood. thanks to xem, the people of the city have a small boost of energy for the long day that awaits them next.
Since Xi first appered (4 years ago), xe gave people a place to socialise, charge and rest. meaning, people started talking more, worring the gards that partol the capital. The last time the city had been as lively and social was almost 2 decades ago. the disperse late night festivities when alerted.
Years ago when the city was that lively, it was a fester pool for rumors and false stories about the royal family. stories about a legendary golden heir that would overthrow and revotionalise their kingdoom, one that one get rid of the royal entourage and its power to give it back to the people. The tale started to be known as a profecie and rumors would make their way to the castle.
Today, the only day of festivity is the comemoration of the lost prince, but with the lack of free days and days to rest, people copletelty lost its meaning and use it as a day to be festive. It had always been to the crown's advantage as people wouldnt bother to question the disparition or even remember it. Rumors about the royal family died down with time, people being way more preocupied with their own lifes and to vent about it to their neigbors.
But that night is the only one Xi never, in four year, appeared. People expected xem to be the heart of the festivity again, to play xyr lyr and to dance around with the people of the capital, but xe never would. In fact, xe wouldn't even comeback until a few days after it, once the city was back to it's usual gloom.
Xi's identity is a mystery, but people of the city respect it to be. They even cover up for xem when gards are looking for xem. Altho, it's not hard to guess that xe's young. What people seem the have a harder time figuring out is xyr gender. Xi has a slim build but it's always covered up by xyr cape so, really, who can be sure? Xyr faciale feature are only know by children, as xe only take off xyr mask to them. they describe xem as angelic, fairylike, more beautiful than the moon itself.
Xyr voice is hard to figure out as well. At times, it's as high, light and melodic as a bird, and others it bearly percivable, so deep and mellow it fades alongside with the strings of xyr harp. When talking, its seems xe makes an effort for it to stay in a medium range.
